Lexus has announced the 2027 RX and it continues to offer a wide range of powertrain options. The RX 350 starts things off with a 2.4-liter turbo-four paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Following that are three hybrid options. The RX 350h uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder setup with 246 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the RX 450h+ upgrades the setup with a higher-traction battery and 304 hp.
On the other hand, the 2027 Lexus RX 500h serves as the performance-oriented model. This features hybrid system centered around the 2.4-liter turbo-four and a six-speed automatic transmission. Total system output is 366 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. It features Lexus’ DIRECT4 AWD system, which can improve handling and stability. Additionally, F Sport models are available with an Adaptive Variable Suspension. Need even more go fast goodies? The RX 500h F Sport Performance features six-piston front brakes with aluminum calipers and 15.74-inch rotors, and Dynamic Rear Steering. Additionally, it comes standard with 21-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Optionally, the F Sport Handling and F Sport Performance models can be equipped with red brake calipers.
On the luxury end of the spectrum, the RX offers plenty of goodies. These includes power-folding heated and ventilated rear seats, an available 12.3-inch digital cluster, and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system. Every model comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 and the Lexus interface with either a 9.8-inch or 14-inch touchscreen depending on the trim.
Prices start at $55,450 for the front-drive Premium trim. AWD costs an extra $1,600 on most trims and comes standard on the RX 450h+ and RX 500h. Load up an RX and you’re looking at around $75,000 for either the RX 450h+ or RX 500h. The 2027 RX arrives at dealerships this fall.
