Audi has revealed big changes to the refreshed 2027 Q4 e-tron. The brand’s entry-level battery-electric SUV continues to offer both the standard and Sportback body styles. Now, it features Audi’s panoramic display that combines an 11.9-inch digital cluster and a 12.8-inch touchscreen. A 12-inch passenger display is now available as an option.
For added convenience, the Q4 comes with cooled inductive dual wireless chargers and four USB-C ports. It also comes with cushioned knee pads, sport front seats, and two versions of ambient lighting. You can also download third-party apps directly into the car via the Audi Application Store on the standard MMI interface. The 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron continues to offer the Sonos premium audio system and an augmented reality head-up display. In terms of driver assistance tech, a full suite is available and includes Adaptive Driving Assistance Plus, parking assist plus, traffic sign recognition, and a surround-view camera system.
On the outside, not much has changed. The Q4 e-tron now has four signature LED headlight patterns and a body-colored faux single-frame grille. On the S Line models, Selenite Silver vertical blades accentuate the front and rear bumpers. You can also opt for Mythos Black blades. Additionally, the standard model receives a revised rear spoiler that improves its aerodynamics. Both body styles also have three new exterior colors and five wheel designs.

2027 Audi Q4 e-tron: Fast Charging, Longer Ranger
On the mechanical side, the Q4 e-tron has the new APP350 rear electric motor. It features many key updates that help improve driving range, including silicon carbide pulse inverters, newly developed power electronics, and updated software. Additionally, advanced power modulation techniques better leverage DC voltage for more power even at lower charge levels. This results in an efficiency improvement of 10 percent.
On the other hand, a more efficient transmission helps further improve efficiency. Credit goes to a newly engineered low-viscosity lubricant that reduces friction losses while remaining resilient, especially in cold weather. This also increases the driving range by 12 km or about 7.46 miles. In total, the standard range models experience a range increase of approximately 30 km, or 18.6 miles. Meanwhile, dual-motor AWD models gain between 16 and 32 km, which equates roughly 10 and 20 miles. On the WLTP cycle, the Q4 e-tron now offers a driving range of up to 578 km (359 miles) on the standard model and 592 km (368 miles) on the Sportback, depending on the powertrain configuration.
Battery options remain the same: a 63-kWh unit on the standard range variant or a larger 82-kWh pack on the long-range versions. The peak DC charging rates have also increased to 185 kW on some models. As a result, the 10 to 80 percent DC charge now takes 27 minutes under ideal conditions, enabling the car to add 185 km or 115 miles in 10 minutes. Additionally, the Q4 e-tron is the first Audi to have bi-directional charging, allowing it to power smaller appliances or homes.
The 2027 Audi Q4 e-tron will be available to order starting this May. Deliveries begin this summer. Expect it to come to North America by the end of 2026, likely with a standard NACS port.
