2027 Toyota bZ Keeps Pricing Reasonable

Toyota has a battery-electric lineup packed with value, and that remains for 2027, starting with the bZ. The base front-drive XLE model starts at a reasonable $36,575 and comes with a long list of features. This includes Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, an NACS charging port, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, and more. As for the powertrain, it comes with a 57.7-kWh battery and a single electric motor making 165 hp. The total driving range rating is 236 miles per EPA testing.

Looking for more? Move up to the XLE FWD Plus trim. That upgrades the 2027 Toyota bZ to a 74.7-kWh battery and 221-hp front electric motor. Additionally, its EPA-estimated driving range rating goes up to 314 miles. Meanwhile, the AWD variant keeps the larger battery and adds a second motor on the rear axle, increasing output to 338 hp. However, driving range drops to 288 miles on the XLE trim. Prices check in at a reasonable $39,575 for the XLE FWD Plus and $41,575 for the XLE AWD.

Stepping up to the Limited trim effectively gives you the larger battery standard no matter the drivetrain. However, since it comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, the EPA-estimated driving range rating drops to 299 miles for front-drive models or 278 miles with AWD. It also comes with more features. These include ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a panoramic glass roof, and more. Every 2027 bZ comes standard with a 14-inch touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Limited trim also comes with a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system. All of that doesn’t come at a steep price, either, at $44,975 for the Limited FWD or $46,975 with AWD.
