Pricing for the 2027 Nissan Z is officially out, and it appears the brand has kept price creep mostly in check. The base Sport trim starts at $45,725 with either the six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission. That makes it cheaper than the Toyota GR Supra, by over $10,000. However, it lacks certain key features like heated power-operated seats, a limited-slip differential, and a few other niceties. Additionally, the Sport trim has an eight-inch touchscreen instead of a nine-inch unit that the Performance and Nismo have. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, but only the former includes wireless compatibility on models with the nine-inch touchscreen.
For us, we think the sweet spot of the 2027 Nissan Z lineup is the Performance trim. At $55,725, it remains cheaper than the equivalent Supra 3.0 Premium trim by around $5,000. Moreover, it comes with more standard features. These include Rays 19-inch forged wheels, staggered Bridgestone Potenza S007 summer tires, high-performance brakes, and a mechanical clutch-type limited-slip differential. It also includes an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, heated seats, and a rear spoiler.
At the top of the lineup, the Z Nismo checks in at $68,505 and features both manual and automatic options. It includes unique Nismo-specific design details, Recaro seats, Rays 19-inch gloss black forged wheels, and Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600 performance tires. Nismo-tuned suspension and steering, Nismo-tuned front and rear chassis bracing, and GT-R-derived two-piece iron-aluminum brake rotors that are 19 lbs. lighter come standard. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 also has more power at 420 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. That’s a modest increase of 20 hp and 34 lb-ft over the Sport and Performance trims.
Other changes include a new front fascia for the Sport and Performance trims, and the Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic exterior color.
