Pricing for the 2027 Seltos is out, and in typical Kia fashion, the value game rocks. Starting at $26,485 for the LX trim, the Seltos includes plenty of standard features. These include 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Every model also includes a full range of active safety features, including automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. Higher trims can add goodies like a surround view camera, Highway Driving Assist, and parking sensors.
Higher trims add niceties to the 2027 Kia Seltos. These include a heated steering wheel, a hands-free power liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof. The X-Line SX’s Prestige package takes this up a notch with ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and an eight-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. With everything included, the 2027 Seltos tops out at just over $37,000. Keep in mind the Seltos comes with so much more than key competitors like the Toyota Corolla Cross. Meanwhile, the mechanically similar Hyundai Kona costs about the same at the top end, with nearly identical features.

The 2027 Seltos comes standard with a 2.0-liter I-4 with 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque paired to a CVT on most trims. Meanwhile, the X-Line SX comes exclusively with a 1.6-liter turbo-four making 190 hp and 195 lb-ft. That comes paired with an eight-speed automatic. A hybrid model arrives later and will offer e-AWD. Meanwhile, gas-only models have an optional Torque Vectoring Multi-Mode AWD. The EPA rates the 2027 Seltos at 28/33/30 mpg city/highway combined with FWD or 26/30/28 mpg with AWD. Turbo models with standard AWD are EPA-rated at 24/30/26 mpg. Expect the Seltos Hybrid’s MPG ratings to beat or match the Corolla Cross Hybrid and Crosstrek Hybrid.
