2026 Nissan Pathfinder

2026 Nissan Pathfinder Still Offers Strong Value

Nissan continues to double down on value with the refreshed 2026 Pathfinder. Starting at $38,995 for the base S trim, the SUV comes with many standard features. These include a new 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Certain trims include a new Qi2 wireless charger that can charge devices quickly. It is also a cooling fan to help keep your devices from overheating, and a magnetic zone that holds phones in place. Meanwhile, the SL and Platinum trims now come with black roof rails instead of silver. The 2026 Pathfinder includes an updated surround-view camera system on the Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum trims. It now includes a front wide view camera and an invisible hood view to help drivers see their surroundings better.

Outside of these updates and the subtle design tweaks, the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder essentially carries over unchanged from last year. It retains the 3.5-liter V6 with 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque on most trims. Meanwhile, the Rock Creek has more power at 295 hp and 270 lb-ft since it requires premium fuel. A nine-speed automatic returns as the only transmission available. Every trim comes in either FWD or AWD configuration except the Rock Creek, which comes standard with the latter. Additionally, the Rock Creek also includes a more rugged exterior, all-terrain tires, and a lifted off-road-tuned suspension. The Pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 lbs. when properly equipped.

At the top of the line, the 2026 Pathfinder costs just under $53,000 before adding on extra-cost two-tone colors. That’s not bad considering many competitors except the Subaru Ascent top out around $60,000 now. In fact those remain the only two with MSRPs that manage to sneak below the $55,000 mark! The 2026 Pathfinder arrives at Nissan dealers early next year.
