When Genesis revealed the GV60 Magma, it also brought along a spicy little surprise: the G90 Wingback Concept. Based on the standard G90 sedan, the Wingback shows what’s possible with the brand’s design language applied to a wagon body style. The two-line headlights and crest grille keep the car’s aggressive look, complemented by Genesis’ signature Parabolic line. Larger lower air intakes flanked by canards add to its menacing looks. Flared wheel arches and 22-inch wheels with low-profile tires give the car a low, wide stance.
From the side, you’ll see just how gorgeous the Genesis G90 Wingback Concept is. The stretched roofline gives it a sleek, grand-touring-wagon vibe, especially with its deep emerald green exterior color. Its rear end features a liftgate instead of a trunk, and two spoilers that hint at its performance aspiration. Look lower, and you’ll find a cool rear diffuser with quad exhaust tips stacked vertically.

Genesis G90 Wingback Concept: Totally Rad
Inside, the sporty theme continues with details like green-colored Magma stitching on the seats. Quilted suede-like Chamude material features heavily on the door trim, sport seats, steering wheel, dash, and console. Furthermore, it includes plenty of green contrast stitching and the Magma logo on the seats, the latter hinting at the G90 Wingback’s performance intentions.
Although Genesis didn’t disclose performance figures, we suspect the G90 Wingback to have an iteration of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. In its most potent form, it features a 48-volt mild hybrid setup with 409 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. Should the G90 Wingback enter production, expect it to remain AWD and feature extensive suspension, chassis, and powertrain improvements. Additionally, it could include a full hybrid with more powerful electric motors. Think of the G90 Wingback as Korea’s answer to the BMW M5 Touring and Audi RS 6 Avant, but slightly larger.
