2026 Lexus UX

Lexus revealed the pricing for the 2026 UX, and it’s a pretty penny for a subcompact SUV. New additions for 2026 include standard auto-leveling headlights on all models and a new Ultra White exterior color. Premium and F Sport models now come standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. All F Sport Handling models also come standard with a hands-free power liftgate.

The rest of the car remains unchanged. That means the 2026 Lexus UX carries over with the same fifth-generation two-liter hybrid system with 196 hp. It also continues to offer AWD, which adds an electric motor on the rear axle. Don’t expect quick runs to 60, though. FWD models take 8.0 seconds, while AWD models are barely quicker at 7.9 seconds. On the plus side, the UX 300h has excellent EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings at 45/41/43 mpg city/highway/combined for FWD models or 44/40/42 mpg with AWD. For sharper handling, the F Sport Handling trim includes standard Adaptive Variable Suspension.

As for features, the 2026 UX comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 and the brand’s latest infotainment system with either an 8.0-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen. The latter includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Certain versions include niceties like heated and ventilated front seats, a moonroof, a digital key, and a head-up display.

In terms of pricing, the base 2026 Lexus UX 300h starts at $38,250 for FWD models. Add $1,600 for AWD. The most expensive version remains the F Sport Handling model, which costs $46,670 in front-drive configuration or $48,240 when equipped with AWD. That’s a lot of money for a subcompact luxury SUV, especially one that’s much smaller than competitors, which include the Volvo XC40, BMW X1, Audi Q3, Acura ADX, and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class. The car goes on sale before the end of 2025.
