2027 Lexus RZ Continues to Offer Strong Value

The 2027 Lexus RZ carries over unchanged and that’s a good thing. Why? It remains a strong value play among luxury electric SUVs. With a starting price of $47,495, you can drive a well-equipped EV backed by Toyota and Lexus’ legendary reputation for reliability. Additionally, it comes well equipped. All models come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, a 14-inch touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a heated steering wheel, and more.

We think the sweet spot for the 2027 Lexus RZ is the well-equipped Premium trim. That adds a surround-view camera, a hands-free power liftgate, and Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking for $49,970. You can also add the Convenience package, which includes Advanced Park, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert. Meanwhile, the Luxury trim, which is available only on the dual-motor RZ 450e, adds 20-inch wheels, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system, and a front radiant heater.

For a sportier drive, the RZ 550e F Sport brings the looks with some unique hardware. It includes an F Sport-tuned suspension, 20-inch aero wheels, an M mode setting, and a cool dual rear spoiler setup. You can also add the creature comforts from the Luxury trim via the Luxury package.

The RZ comes in three power ratings. The RZ 350e is FWD and makes 221 hp, while the RZ 450e’s dual-motor AWD setup makes 308 hp. Both use a 74.69-kWh battery. Meanwhile the RZ 550e’s dual-motor setup makes 402 hp and comes backed by a 76.96-kWh battery. RZ 350e models have an EPA-estimated driving range rating of 301 miles with 18-inch wheels or 284 miles with 20s. The RZ 450e drops to 260 miles on 18s or 258 miles on 20s. Finally, the RZ 550e is EPA-rated at 229 miles.
