We finally know how much the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma costs, and it’s a massive steal. At $71,495, it’s cheaper than the current GV60 Performance, indicating that the rest of the lineup will likely see a massive price drop for 2027. What does that get you? A lot of car for the money. Like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which recently got a price cut, the GV60 Magma has a dual-motor AWD setup backed by an 84-kWh battery. In boost mode, it makes 641 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. Outside of that, the GV60 Magma “only” makes 600 hp and 546 lb-ft.
To complement all of that power, the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma includes adaptive dampers, an electronic limited-slip differential, and High Performance Battery Control. In addition, it comes with several drive modes, including Sprint, GT, and Drift. Launch control also comes standard, along with 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in high-performance tires. Yes, the GV60 Magma comes with simulated shifting and augmented sounds, just like the Ioniq 5 N.
Available in a single trim, the GV60 Magma comes generously equipped. Standard features include heated and ventilated front bucket seats, a full suite of driver assistance features, a surround-view camera, and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system. It also comes standard with a 27-inch integrated OLED infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Meanwhile, owners will have four exterior color options. In addition to Magma Orange, you can also choose Uyuni White, Vik Black, and Makalu Gray Matte. Finally, orange contrast stitching, Magma-exclusive pedals, and performance-focused gauge cluster graphics come standard.
The 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma arrives soon, initially in California, New York, and New Jersey. Expect extremely limited quantities for this high-performance EV and potentially dealer markups in the states where it’ll be initially available.
