Yep, the Subaru Ascent remains for the 2027 model year. The brand’s gas-powered three-row SUV continues to offer five trims: Premium, Limited, Limited Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring. What’s new for 2027? A model-exclusive exterior color called Deep Water Blue Pearl. Additionally, extra USB-C ports and an interior light off switch have been added to the Ascent. Every model comes standard with the EyeSight suite of driver assistance features. As before, the only engine option is a turbocharged 2.4-liter boxer-four with 260 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. A CVT with an eight-speed mode and paddle shifters remains the only transmission offered.
Other than small updates, the 2027 Subaru Ascent remains largely unchanged. At least the cool versions remain. The Limited Bronze Edition brings some flashy styling tweaks. These include 20-inch bronze-finish alloy wheels and bronze exterior accents. Inside, it also includes bronze contrast stitching and a bronze steering wheel insert. Want the stealth look? Choose the Onyx Edition Touring, which adds 20-inch black alloy wheels, black exterior accents, and a gloss black grille. On top of that, it also comes with gloss black interior accents and green contrast stitching for a nice pop of color.

Pricing for the 2027 Ascent starts at $42,290 for the base Premium trim. That includes plenty of standard features, including an 11.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual-zone climate control. On the other hand, the Onyx Edition Touring checks in at $53,490. That includes conveniences like ventilated front seats and second-row captain’s chairs. The premium Daybreak Blue and Deepwater Blue exterior colors cost $395 more.
In its segment, the Ascent remains one of the more affordable entries. Only the Nissan Pathfinder comes closest to the Subaru in price. Everything else costs several thousand more with similar features.
