Look closely at the 2027 Infiniti QX65, and you’ll see which vehicle it took inspiration from. Can you guess which one? If you said the legendary FX, you’re correct because this SUV aims to channel that vehicle. From its curvy roofline to its greenhouse, the QX65 pays tribute to its iconic predecessor, and yes, it looks damn good, especially in that new two-tone Sunfire Red! Think of this as the sportier sibling to the three-row QX60, with which it shares its bones.
Speaking of shared components, the 2027 QX65 features a familiar powertrain. A 2.0-liter variable compression turbo-four comes standard with 268 hp and 286 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired exclusively to a nine-speed automatic transmission. However, this combo has been tuned specifically for responsiveness. It features a more aggressive shift schedule and a more aggressive torque delivery for improved off-the-line acceleration and merging. All models come standard with AWD and, when properly equipped, a tow rating of 6,000 pounds.

2027 Infiniti QX65: Stylish and Tech-Packed
At launch, the 2027 Infiniti QX65 comes in three trims, including the Sport and Autograph. The former features a sportier grille, unique 20-inch alloy wheels, a graphite headliner, and gloss black carbonite interior trim. Blackout exterior accents also come standard. Meanwhile, the Autograph trim doubles down on the premium vibes with chrome-finished window trim, 21-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, and a black contrasting roof. Inside, it includes open-pore wood trim, a quilted dashboard, and semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats with a massaging function for the front. As a nod to its Japanese heritage, the Autograph trim features diagonal quilting patterns inspired by the layered folds of a kimono.
Every 2027 QX65 features dual 12.3-inch displays with Google Built-In and Google Assistant. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Qi2 wireless charging, come standard. You can also opt for a Klipsch premium audio system. In the Sport trim, it has 16 speakers, 600 watts, an eight-inch TriPower subwoofer, and one-inch titanium dome tweeters. The Autograph trim bumps the speaker count to 20 and has 1,200 watts. It also features Individual Audio functionality that uses headrest speakers for the driver and front passenger to target music or phone conversations to different occupants specifically.
On the driver assistance front, the QX65 comes with the usual suite of technologies. These include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and more. Certain trims also include a 10.8-inch head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, and a 3D surround-view camera with front-wide and invisible-hood views. ProPilot Assist 2.1 is also available, enabling hands-free driving in certain situations as long as the driver pays attention.
