Kia finally announced pricing for the 2027 Telluride Hybrid, and it’s ready for a fight. Starting at 448,035, this electrified three-row SUV starts a bit higher, but gives you so much more for your money. That’s because it starts at EX trim with FWD, putting it right in the middle of the lineup. Want AWD? Add $2,000 to the sticker price. There is a caveat, though. Just like in the gas version, only the EX and SX trims come with FWD. The latter doesn’t even offer AWD. For that, you must go up to the more expensive SX Prestige trim.
Like the gas model, the 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid has an X-Line variant. That gives the car a more rugged look. However, hybrid models lack an X-Pro variant, which includes an electronic limited-slip differential, a lifted suspension with 9.1 inches of ground clearance, and a Terrain mode. Under the hood, the Telluride Hybrid features a 2.5-liter turbo-four coupled to an electric motor, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a 1.65-kWh lithium-ion battery. Meanwhile, total system output checks in at 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque, the same as the related Hyundai Palisade Hybrid. That’s more than a standard Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid, but less than the punchier Hybrid MAX variant.
Regarding fuel economy, the 2027 Telluride Hybrid delivers. Kia claims an EPA-estimated combined rating of 35 mpg for the front-drive EX trim. Expect the rest of the lineup to mirror the Palisade Hybrid’s EPA ratings. As for the rest of the lineup’s pricing, the most expensive Telluride Hybrid checks in at around $60,000, give or take a grand. That puts it right in line with the Palisade Hybrid and both electrified variants of the Grand Highlander. Built at Kia’s West Point, Georgia, plant and is at dealers now.
