2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Gets Massive Price Cut

Just like the standard Ioniq 5, Hyundai gave the N variant a massive price cut for 2026. That’s right, one of the best high-performance battery-electric vehicles on the market is now more attainable. The Ioniq 5 N now has a starting price of $61,500, a significant price drop of $6,300! This puts it on the same price point as a loaded Lexus RZ 550e F Sport, but with significantly higher levels of fun factor. A Tesla Model Y Performance costs a few thousand dollars less, but does not have the same number of go-fast goodies as the Ioniq 5 N.

In addition to the massive price cut, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N comes with a few key changes. It now offers a Performance Blue Pearl exterior color, replacing the current matte finish. Additionally, the super hot hatch/SUV now has a standard NACS charging port for easier access to compatible Tesla Superchargers. Every 2026 Ioniq 5 N also comes standard with a dual-voltage charging cable for portable level 1 and level 2 charging. Furthermore, Hyundai includes a Level 2 J1772 adapter and a CCS to NACS adapter. The latter allows you to use CCS-native stations like Electrify America and EVgo.

Other changes include auto up/down functionality for the rear windows and Forward Attention Warning. The latter uses an in-cabin camera to ensure that the driver is paying attention to the road ahead. Hyundai also improved the N Drift Optimizer. Originally, the system only had one mode. Now, it has 10 selectable stages, allowing you to truly find your comfort zone when you want to get sideways.

As before, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N features a dual-motor AWD setup with up to 641 hp. It offers extensive customization options, including simulated gear shifts and incredible sounds to add to the fun.
