2026 Toyota C-HR Doubles Down on Value

Pricing for the 2026 Toyota C-HR has arrived, and boy, does it make a strong case. The base SE trim starts at $38,450, and it comes with so much standard equipment. That includes a massive 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, a power liftgate, and a heated steering wheel. Every model also comes with 64-color interior ambient lighting, dual wireless chargers, and a full suite of driver assistance features.

Select the XSE trim increase the price tag of the 2026 Toyota C-HR to $40,450. That adds 20-inch alloy wheels, a surround-view camera, lane change assist, and traffic jam assist. Want more? You can also add a two-tone, a glass roof, heated rear seats, and a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system. All in with an extra-cost exterior color, a C-HR XSE checks in at around $43,500. Not bad considering the amount of equipment it comes with. However, it still lacks ventilated front seats, something its twin, the Subaru Uncharted, includes on the range-topping GT trim.

2026 Toyota C-HR

Every 2026 C-HR comes standard with a 74.7-kWh battery and a dual-motor AWD setup with 338 hp. It also comes standard with an NACS charging port, giving the C-HR native access to the Tesla Supercharger network. Charging from 10 to 80% takes around 30 minutes under ideal conditions at peak rates of up to 150 kW. Plug and charge comes standard on the C-HR, but requires an active Remote Connect trial to use. In terms of driving range, the EPA rates the C-HR’s SE trim at 287 miles. On the other hand, the range-topping XSE trim drops to 273 miles, likely due to its larger 20-inch alloy wheels.

In terms of competition, the 2026 Toyota C-HR competes against the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Bolt, Subaru Uncharted, and Kia Niro EV.
