Lexus just revealed the updated RZ family, which includes an F Sport model for the first time. However, Toyota’s luxury division wasn’t done. Introducing the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance, the new range-topping model for the battery-electric SUV. The brand calls it a special edition in its announcement, but we suspect that applies only to the Japanese market. Other global regions may get this version as a regular production model.
So, what does the RZ 600e add? A lot, actually. Building on the RZ 550e, the Lexus RZ 600e adds plenty of aero bits that add downforce, including two wings and a ton of carbon fiber components, including the roof. Lexus also lowered the suspension by 20 mm (0.78 inches) versus the RZ 550e and added larger, more powerful brakes. Total output has also been increased to 425 hp, an increase of 23 over the RZ 550e.

On the other hand, battery capacity remains around 76.96 kWh. Thanks to the power increase, the RZ 600e can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds. It also includes wider tires in a staggered layout on 21-inch Enkei wheels. They measure in at 255/40R21 front and 295/35R21 rear. That’s 20 mm wider in the front and 40 mm wider in the rear versus the RZ 550e.

Other than the aerodynamic bits made of carbon fiber, the RZ 500e also includes blue exterior accents. Additionally, it comes exclusively in two-tone exterior colors, a light gray or white paired with black. Inside, you’ll find F Sport front seats designed with an integrated foam molding process. Meanwhile, the instrument cluster and shift dial include blue accents.
Expect the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance to go on sale in Japan first, followed by Europe and North America, slotting above the RZ 550e.
