The 2026 Cadillac Optiq arrives with a significantly expanded lineup and plenty of welcome changes. Quite possibly the biggest update? Every Optiq now comes from the factory with a standard NACS charging port for easy access to Tesla Superchargers while on the road. However, plug & charge capability remains unavailable based on a quick look at Cadillac’s consumer site. As before, every Cadillac Optiq comes standard with an 85-kWh battery pack. Two new exterior colors also join the lineup: Magnus Metal Frost and Deep Ocean Tintcoat.
Another big addition for the 2026 Optiq is the addition of a single-motor, rear-drive variant. According to Cadillac, this model can travel up to 300 miles on a single charge. It features 315 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque on tap. Meanwhile, the dual-motor AWD model’s output increases to 440 hp and 498 lb-ft. That’s a whopping increase of 140 hp and 144 lb-ft versus the outgoing variant. Heck, the new single motor version has 15 hp more! However, it’s down 24 lb-ft versus last year’s dual-motor. However, the added power cuts the driving range down to 280 miles for the AWD models. Additionally, both variants can tow 1,500 lbs.
Every 2026 Cadillac Optiq comes standard with a 33-inch LED display, a 19-speaker AKG Premium Audio System, Google Built-In, and three years of Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance.

2026 Cadillac Optiq: V Power
Looking for more performance? The Optiq-V has got your number. In Velocity Max mode, its dual-motor setup makes 519 hp and 650 lb-ft, allowing it to hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Additionally, it features Competitive and V Modes, Launch Control, and Brembo front brakes. Moreover, it features an upgraded suspension and summer tires for enhanced sporty handling.
On top of that, it includes plenty of cosmetic updates like blue accents, a V mesh pattern on the lower grille, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a gloss black front splitter. The Optiq-V also has an optional Carbon Fiber Package that adds a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear mid spoiler. Inside, the Optiq-V includes Santorini Blue accents, carbon fiber trim, and plenty of V badges all around.
In terms of range, Cadillac expects the Optiq-V to receive an EPA rating of 275 miles on a single charge. This will cost you, though. The Optiq-V is the most expensive model in the lineup at $68,795. That’s significantly more than the base single-motor model, which starts at $52,395, and the standard AWD model’s sticker of $55,895.
