Once again, the 2027 Kia Telluride has been teased. This time, it’s sporting a cool wrap that shows off the different design prototype sketches of the new generation SUV. Hundreds of outlines of drawings cover the entire vehicle hiding most of the details. It even includes an easter egg on the front doors! Those numbers? The map coordinates to Telluride, Colorado, the namesake town to this Kia model. Meanwhile, the mix of orange and purple pays tribute to Kia’s Opposites United design language. Most importantly, we finally see one of the trims. In this case, the off-road-oriented X-Pro, which appears to have all-terrain tires, smaller wheels, and a raised suspension.

Unlike the previous teaser, this new one shows us more of the 2027 Kia Telluride. The SUV keeps its familiar boxy styling, but it appears more aggressive than ever. It also retains one of its iconic design details: the orange vertical LED daytime running lights. Out back it also keeps the same curved down LED taillight strip, retaining another key design cue from the outgoing model. The rest of the car feels more of an evolution, especially versus its sister vehicle, the Hyundai Palisade. A big grille sporting a massive Kia logo dominates the front end flanked by vertical headlights.
In terms of what’s under the hood, expect the 2027 Kia Telluride to feature the same powertrain options as the Hyundai Palisade. That means a standard 3.5-liter V6 with 287 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Expect a hybrid system to also be available, featuring 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque just like in the Palisade. Both powertrains should be available in FWD or AWD configurations. Like the outgoing model, expect the second-generation Telluride to be built at Kia’s West Point, Georgia facility, alongside the other models.
