The 2026 Subaru Solterra finally has a price tag, and it’s now one of the strongest values in its class. Starting at $39,945 for the base Premium trim, the Solterra gives you so much bang for your buck, especially with its standard AWD and 288-mile EPA-estimated driving range rating. The other two trims drop the driving range to 278 miles, which remains respectable, especially considering what you get.
Even in its most base form, the 2026 Subaru Solterra packs plenty of kit. Heated front seats, a 14-inch touchscreen, interior ambient lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control all come standard. A 10-way power driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a power liftgate also come standard. Stepping up to the Limited trim adds niceties like a heated steering wheel, Harman Kardon premium audio system, heated rear seats, and Multi-Terrain Monitor. The price for all that extra? $42,845, a hell of a deal considering what you get. The Limited XT gets similar features and pairs them with more powerful electric motors for a total output of 338 hp. That checks in at $44,345, and the driving range holds steady at 278 miles.

At the top of the range is the Solterra Touring XT. At $47,005, this top-of-the-line model adds a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, front radiant heaters, and a digital rearview mirror. The Touring XT is also the only way to get two-tone exterior colors and a blue leather interior. For 2026, the Solterra also gets a new Midnight Tide Mica exterior color available in single or two-tone. Additionally, the high-output electric motors come standard for 338 hp combined.
With these recent major updates, the Solterra represents compelling value. Even with optional colors and interiors, it stays under $50,000, making it a compelling choice among EVs.
