For 2027, the Lexus TX expands the availability of one exterior color option. For some time now, the TX has made Matador Red Mica an F Sport exclusive. That changes because Lexus now offers it on the other models. These include the standard, Premium, and Luxury trims. Unfortunately, the lineup shrinks for the new model year with the discontinuation of the plug-in hybrid variant, the TX 550h+. Want a three-row Lexus with a plug? Your only option is the new TZ.
As far as the rest of the range goes, the 2027 Lexus TX carries over unchanged. The gas-powered TX 350 uses a 2.4-liter turbo-four with 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission remains the only option, while AWD is available. Meanwhile, the TX 500h serves as the electrified option. It uses the same turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, a small traction battery, and a six-speed automatic. Total system output checks in at 366 hp and 406 lb-ft. The TX 500h also comes standard with Direct4 AWD and Dynamic Rear Steering.
Certain models also have an available Adaptive Variable Suspension. This adjusts damping based on the road conditions for a smooth ride and stable handling. This also expands the TX’s custom drive mode, allowing drivers to customize the suspension settings.
Every 2027 TX comes standard with the Lexus Interface and a 14-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also come standard, along with seven USB ports. Optional extras include a head-up display, a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system, Traffic Jam Assist, and Digital Key. Furthermore, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 comes standard.
Pricing starts at $58,890 for the base TX 350 for FWD or $60,490 with AWD. Selecting the TX 500h F Sport Performance Luxury will cost you just over $75,000.
