2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Goes All In on the Blackout Look

Hyundai has expanded the 2026 Tucson Hybrid lineup with the Night Edition and new FWD variants of the SE and SEL trims. So, what does the Night Edition get you? A full-on blackout treatment. This includes gloss black front and rear bumper fascia elements, side mirror covers, and window surround trim. It also includes 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels with silver Hyundai logos. Inside, the Tucson Night Edition features a black headliner.

How much will the murdered out look cost? A good chunk of change since it’s based on the range-topping Limited trim and comes standard with a hybrid powertrain. However, the 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Night Edition still offers good value. This includes goodies like a 12-inch head-up display, wireless charging, a heated steering wheel, leather seats, and onboard navigation. All of that and then some cost $44,175. Not bad! Especially considering this also includes Remote Smart Park, ventilated front seats, and then some on top of the features listed above.

Most importantly, the hybrid system couples a 1.6-liter turbo-four with an electric motor, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a 1.49-kWh lithium-ion battery. Total system output checks in at 231 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. AWD also comes standard on the Limited trim with the hybrid powertrain. Meanwhile, the EPA rates the Tucson Hybrid with AWD at 36/37/36 mpg city/highway/combined.

In addition to the Night Edition, the Tucson Hybrid lineup expands with the addition of FWD versions of the SE and SEL trims. As usual with Hyundai, both offer great value at $32,550 for the SE or $34,000 for the SEL. Both include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more. The SEL also adds goodies like a power driver’s seat and heated front seats. EPA fuel economy ratings are not published yet.
