For 2027, Hyundai has doubled down on the murdered out look with the Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Black Ink. This new range-topping model takes blackout accents to new heights. Finished in the classy Abyss Black Pearl exterior color, the Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Black Ink adds black chrome-finished front skid plate and rear garnish, gloss black roof rails, and black window moldings. The exterior Hyundai badges also come finished in black. Additionally, the Calligraphy Black Ink has exclusive black 21-inch turbine design alloy wheels.
Inside, the 2027 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Black Ink keeps the blackout look going. The door handles, interior trim, and steering wheel all come finished in black. Since it’s based on the Calligraphy trim, the Black Ink model comes standard with a six-seat layout, including power-adjustable and ventilated second-row Relaxation seats, and heated third row seats. It also comes with aluminum trim featuring organic hand-ccrafted patterns, a panoramic glass roof, and an eco-suede headliner made from corn-derived sustainable fibers.

In terms of tech, the Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Black Ink comes with a ton. These include a head-up display, digital rearview mirror, front and rear dash cams, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, V2L capability, and 100W USB-C ports. A 14 speaker Bose premium audio system also comes standard. Power comes a 110.3-kWh battery and two electric motors. The dual-motor AWD setup makes 422 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the standard 800-volt electrical system, DC charging from 10 to 80 percent takes 24 minutes under ideal conditions. An NACS charging port comes standard on the Ioniq 9.
So, how much will this murdered out Ioniq 9 cost you? Likely similar to the current range-topping Calligraphy Design. The Calligraphy Black Ink looks super loaded to the gills with tech and convvenience features, just like that model.
