Looking for a 2027 Genesis GV60, but not the crazy Magma version? You’re in luck because this funky luxury battery-electric crossover received a nice price drop! Starting at $47,795, it’s now $6,225 cheaper than last year’s model. The base AWD model is also cheaper by $6,025, giving it a starting price of $51,495. However, Genesis killed off the Advanced AWD and Performance variants, with the latter being replaced by the GV60 Magma.
As for the Advanced AWD trim, the 2027 Genesis GV60 lineup replaces it with the Prestige AWD. Most importantly, it’s a heck of a value at $59,695, which is $1,205 less than last year’s Advanced AWD. Best of all, the Prestige AWD gains more standard features. It comes standard with a full suite of driver assistance features, including Highway Driving Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2, and Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 2. On the convenience front, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a surround-view camera, and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system come standard. You even get digital key capability, a panoramic glass roof, a hands-free liftgate, and a 27-inch OLED dual display setup as standard! That’s right, this trim is a hell of a value.
Regarding the powertrains, the GV60 Prestige AWD comes standard with a dual-motor AWD setup. It makes 314 hp and has an EPA-estimated driving range rating of 267 miles. Why 15 miles lower than the standard AWD model? Blame the wheels. The base GV60 AWD comes with 19-inch wheels, while the Prestige AWD rides on 20-inch units. Thankfully, the GV60 rides on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP platform and has an 800-volt electric architecture. As a result, you can charge the standard 84-kWh battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 20 minutes under ideal conditions on a compatible charger.
