Hot on the heels of the bZ, the 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland strengthens the brand’s battery-electric lineup by holding its price tag down. Yep, just like the standard model, the wagon-like variant did not see a price increase for 2027. That means the base model starts at $46,975 with dual-motor AWD and 375 horsepower. This allows the bZ Woodland to hit 60 mph in an impressive 4.5 seconds, according to Toyota.
Additionally, that price tag doesn’t just give you speed. The base 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland comes generously equipped. It comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, power-adjustable front seats, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, dual wireless chargers, and more. Stepping up to the Premium trim adds a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system, driver’s seat memory, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, and front radiant heaters. All of that for $49,075. Both trims also come with a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 18-inch wheels. Fully loaded under $50,000? Definitely a great deal.
The 2027 bZ Woodland has respectable EPA-estimated driving range ratings, too. With the standard all-season tires, it’s rated at 281 miles. Opt for the no-cost all-terrain tire option, and that figure drops to 260 miles, which puts it in the same ballpark as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT, but with more power. DC charging the standard 74.7-kWh battery from 10 to 80 percent takes 30 minutes under ideal conditions with a peak rate of 150 kW.
Toyota EVs also include Plug & Charge capability and battery preconditioning that can be manually activated. However, to use the former requires an active Remote Connect trial or subscription. Additionally, they lack built-in EV route planning. Apple users can use Apple Maps’ own EV route planning, but Android users lack any equivalent.
