Audi has announced mid-year updates for the gas-powered 2026 A6. This comes right after the battery-electric A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron received some meaningful tech updates. Now, those improvements have made their way to the gas-powered A6. On top of that, the car now comes with Audi Signature Care, which includes three years or 30,000 miles of scheduled maintenance (whichever comes first).
You’ll find the big update for the 2026 Audi A6 in the infotainment system. It now features the latest version of the MMI interface, which has new software and updated graphics shared with the MyAudi app. The system also includes a new 3D model of the car shown across the three displays and even reflects its color. Meanwhile, the main touchscreen now has fewer lists and more graphical representations to help reduce distraction. On the other hand, the Audi digital assistance has new animations, while the clock is now on the upper left.

The Virtual Cockpit also sees changes. These include fewer icons, a simplified structure, and drive mode-based graphics. You can now mirror Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions right into the Virtual Cockpit. Finally, the optional front passenger display can now pair with a mobile device via Bluetooth.
As for other changes, the 2026 A6 receives an updated steering wheel with a scroll wheel. This replaces most of the touch-sensitive controls. A dash cam is now available, too, while the optional Bang & Olufsen premium audio system adds headrest-mounted speakers. On the range-topping Prestige trim, the A6 gains Audi Drive Select Assistant, rear automatic emergency braking, automatic parking, and a surround-view camera. It also has an optional Luxury package that includes Pearl Nappa leather, massaging front seats, and passenger’s side memory.
Despite these significant changes, the pricing for the 2026 A6 remains, starting at $65,395.
