2026 Jeep Gladiator Adds Willys ’41 Buzz Variant

Jeep pays tribute to its military heritage with a new special model joining the 2026 Gladiator lineup. Called the Willys ’41 Buzz, this truck blends Jeep’s design language with a military-inspired theme. This Gladiator takes inspiration from the Jeep Kaiser M715 military truck. As a result, it brings a more rugged vibe to this modern off-road truck.

Every 2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys ’41 Buzz has several unique details. These include exclusive 17-inch wheels painted in a color called Olive Drab. It also features a Mojave hood with retro-inspired decals, Willys ’41 tan seat inserts, mid bolsters wrapped in Mantis Green cloth, and steel front and rear bumpers. Finally, for an even more rugged look and performance, the Willys ’41 Buzz has a Mopar triple hood grille guard and mud-terrain tires.

Under the hood, the 2026 Gladiator comes powered by the familiar Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine. In this application, this mill has 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic remains the only transmission available. The Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped. On the other hand, the max payload stands at 1,720 pounds. Jeep offers a choice of three part-time and one full-time 4WD systems.

For 2026, the Gladiator gains two new exterior colors: Reign and Goldilocks. However, the latter is a late availability. It also includes an enhanced door hinge system that makes removing the door easier than before. In addition to the new Willys ’41 Buzz, the rest of the lineup returns. That means you can also choose the Rubicon for slow rock crawling or the Mojave trim for desert running. Pricing for the Willys ’41 Buzz starts at $49,835, putting it right in the middle of the lineup. Expect lower trims to cost much less than this special edition model.
