Honda has revealed the updated 2026 Pilot, and it gains some much-needed tech improvements along with subtle styling updates. Let’s start with the good bits first. For 2026, the Pilot finally receives a larger standard touchscreen. In this case, it’s a 12.3-inch unit that’s complemented by a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster. The latter also comes standard on all trims. Additionally, every trim now features standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a power tailgate.
Certain features gain expanded availability on the 2026 Honda Pilot. Heated outboard second-row seats are now standard on the TrailSport and higher trim levels. Meanwhile, the Touring comes standard with a surround-view camera. On top of that, Honda says this trim receives more premium upholstery and trim, as well as an optional brown leather. The range-topping Elite now comes with Ultrasuede seat accents and diamond stitching.

In terms of other changes, the automaker says the 2026 Pilot now has a quieter cabin and improved steering feel and precision. Design-wise, the front fascia receives a subtle tweak and a larger grille. Two new exterior colors, Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl, are now available on most trims. On the other hand, the TrailSport has a new exclusive color, Ash Green Pearl, the same one found in the CR-V TrailSport. That color replaces the old Diffused Sky Blue Pearl. Touring models feature new 20-inch wheels with a machine finish. Furthermore, every trim except the base Sport now comes with roof rails.
Mechanically, the 2026 Pilot carries over unchanged. That means a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine with 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. In addition to FWD, the Pilot is available with Honda’s torque vectoring i-VTM4 AWD system.
The 2026 Pilot arrives at dealers in December.
