Nissan Puts Performance On Focus at SEMA 2025

Nissan goes all in on performance with its 2025 SEMA Show concepts. The Japanese automaker’s four vehicles pay tribute to its rich heritage. Plus, two of those were created in collaboration with Forsberg Racing, one of which will be used in competition.

Starting off with the off-road show cars, the Dune Patrol pays homage to the Patrol’s desert racing history. Designed as a support vehicle, this concept has a custom long-travel racing suspension, widened fenders, NISMO 18-inch AXIS beadlock wheels, and 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires. It also includes high-clearance bumpers, a swing-out spare tire, a traction board mount, frame-mounted rock sliders, skid plates, off-road lighting, a roof rack, and a cat-back exhaust. For additional versatility, the Dune Patrol includes roof-mounted storage, MOLLE panels for fuel and water canisters, an onboard air compressor, and a long-range antenna.

Based on the Frontier PRO-4X, the Rapid Runner has 17-inch NISMO ASCEND wheels and the same tires as the Dune Patrol. The suspension components come from the larger Titan. It also includes a NISMO roof rack and bed rack systems. On the other hand, they replaced the doors with tubular bars. What’s more, the Rapid Runner includes paddle and wetsuit storage.nd solar panels for recharging gear. Finally, it includes Covercraft waterproof seat covers and all-purpose lined floors.

Nissan x Forsberg Racing

Nissan continues its partnership with Forsberg Racing and now we see the latest results. The NISMO GT-Z takes things to 11 and is ready to hit the track and compete. Based on the Z NISMO, it includes NISMO performance parts to highlight how a cars can be modified for competition. These include the suspension, exhaust, and more. Additionally, Nissan set up a Podium 1 racing simulator with a bespoke seat so attendees can experience the GT-Z.

In addition to the NISMO GT-Z, Forsberg Racing also brought a modified Y60-generation Patrol. Under the hood, it features a heavily modified 4.8-liter inline-six with a whopping 1,000 horsepower. Additionally, it includes 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires and 17-inch AXIS beadlock tires. Like the NISMO GT-Z, all of the upgrades in this Patrol come from the NISMO off-road catalog.
