Porsche’s all-electric Macan lineup has expanded. The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS marks the fifth model in the range, slotting between the 4S and Turbo trims. Featuring a 100-kWh battery pack and two electric motors, the Macan GTS has 509 hp and 704 lb-ft of torque. In Launch Control, the former number goes up to 563 hp, allowing for a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.6 seconds. What about the quarter mile? The Macan GTS Electric does that in 12 seconds. It charges fast, too, going from 10 to 80% in 21 minutes under ideal conditions with a peak rate of 270 kW.
Porsche says the Macan GTS is the most agile model. It features a model-specific tune for the air suspension and an electronically-controlled limited-slip rear differential. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and the electric Porsche Traction Management system also come standard. The latter is mounted directly behind the rear motor, which is shared with the Macan Turbo. As a result, the 2026 Porsche Macan GTS Electric has a rear-biased 48/52 weight distribution. It also has the lowest center of gravity in the lineup and a specially calibrated Porsche Active Suspension Management system, further upping the fun-to-drive factor.
Additionally, the GTS receives model-specific tuning for its dampers and anti-roll bars. Plus, the lower ride height helps enhance its agility and cornering capability. You can also add the optional rear-wheel steering system to sharpen up the SUV’s handling dynamics. The Macan GTS also includes the Sport Chrono Package as standard and includes Track Endurance Mode, which Porsche first introduced on the Taycan. That feature cools the battery to delay potential heat-related power reduction.
2026 Porsche Macan GTS Electric: Distinctly Sporty Style
In addition to all the go-fast goods, Porsche gave the Macan GTS some unique styling tweaks to help it stand out. The exterior features wider rocker panels and a trim-specific lower rear fascia. Moreover, three new exterior colors join the lineup: Chalk, Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue, all first-time additions to the Macan lineup. That’s on top of 15 standard colors and approximately 60 more via the Paint-to-Sample program offered through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
Inside, the Macan GTS sees extended Race-Tex upholstery mixed with black leather. A heated GTS steering wheel comes standard, along with 18-way power sport seats trimmed in Race-Tex and leather. What’s more, a new GTS Interior package adds contrasting color accents that match the exterior. Even the Porsche Communication Management system and digital gauge cluster have unique GTS-specific themes! On top of that, the GTS model includes all of the 2026 model year changes, like the Porsche Digital Key, AI-assisted Voice Pilot, and an increased max towing capacity of 5,500 pounds.
The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS Electric arrives in the spring of next year with a sticker price of $105,850. However, if you go crazy with the options, you’re looking at over $130,000 pretty quickly.
