The 2026 Lexus GX officially has a price tag of $66,935. That’s for the base Premium trim, which gets a 14-inch touchscreen, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, and several other goodies as standard. Power comes from a standard 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 with 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic is the only transmission offered. Towing capacity stands at 9,063 pounds for the Premium, Premium+, and Overtrail+ trims, or 9,096 pounds on the Overtrail with the included tow hitch receiver.
Every 2026 Lexus GX comes standard with full-time 4WD and a center locking differential. For additional off-road capability, the Overtrail and Overtrail+ models include a rear locking differential and Electronic Kinematic Dynamic Suspension System. Certain variants also include Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control as standard.

In terms of luxury features, the 2026 GX offers heated and ventilated front seats, heated second row seats, and a power third row. Every GX comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and wireless smartphone integration. Available options include a cool box, a head-up display, and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system. Opting for Connected Services subscriptions adds functions like Cloud Navigation, Digital Key, and more.
Load up a 2026 GX with every bell and whistle, and you’re looking at well over $80,000. However, it does not offer any other engine options. Lexus originally confirmed a hybrid variant back when the current-generation debuted, but has not given an update with regards to its arrival. When it does arrive, we hope it retains the twin-turbo V6 engine. Currently, that system is in the LX 700h, as well as the Toyota Tundra and Sequoia. In those vehicles, the hybrid system makes 583 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, horsepower checks in at 457 for the LX 700h or 437 in the Tundra and Sequoia.
