2026 Toyota Corolla FX

2026 Toyota Corolla FX Starts at $27,975

Toyota finally put a price tag on its latest retro throwback Corolla. The 2026 Toyota Corolla FX starts at $27,975, placing it between the base SE and the range-topping XSE. This year’s model is based on the hatchback and features nostalgic details to help it channel the iconic Corolla FX16. These include gloss white 18-inch alloy wheels, a retro-inspired rear Corolla badge, and a vented sport wing.

Inside, the 2026 Toyota Corolla FX features black Sport Touring front seats with suede inserts and orange contrast stitching. These include standard heating and 10-way power adjustability for the driver. For the keen-eyed, yes, those are the same seats from the GR Corolla just without the badging. Additionally, you’ll also find more black stitching on the door panel, steering wheel, and shifter. A customizable 7-inch digital gauge cluster also comes standard. Those looking for one should act fast because the FX Edition is limited to only 1,600 units for the U.S.

Just like the SE and XSE, the Corolla FX uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 169 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. A CVT with a physical launch gear remains the only transmission offered. Unlike last year’s FX Edition sedan, the hatchback doesn’t include lowering springs or a trim-specific tune for its steering. The EPA rates the Corolla Hatchback at up to 32/41/35 mpg city/highway/combined.

The rest of the lineup continues essentially unchanged. Blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and wireless charging now come standard on all Corolla Hatchback models. Unlike the sedan and Corolla Cross, the hatchback model only comes with an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Two-tone exterior colors also return on the SE and XSE models. Meanwhile, the FX Edition only has three exterior color options: Inferno, Ice Cap, and Blue Crush Metallic.
