All hail the high-revving V8 engine! The 2026 Lexus LC arrives with only one powertrain option: a 5.0-liter V8 with 471 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. As before, the 10-speed automatic remains the only transmission option. Gone is the LC 500h, which used a complex multi-stage hybrid system. That model utilized a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with two electric motors, a planetary gear set, and a four-speed automatic transmission. In total, the LC 500h made 354 hp.
Returning for the 2026 is the Inspiration Series. For the LC 500 coupe it includes a carbon fiber roof, 21-inch matte black forged alloy wheels, two-tone white and black sport seats, and blackout exterior details. Additionally, the LC 500 coupe Inspiration Series sports an exclusive Smoke Matte Gray exterior color. Meanwhile, the LC 500 convertible Inspiration Series has a brown and silver soft top, black 21-inch forged alloy wheels, and a carbon fiber scuff plate. To distinguish the convertible, it has the new Wind exterior color.
In terms of performance goodies, the 2026 LC has optional Adaptive Variable Suspension, rear-wheel steering, and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The LC also features an active exhaust system to help maximize aural pleasure from the high-revving V8 engine.

2026 Lexus LC: Bespoke and Exclusive
For those looking for additional exclusivity, the 2026 Lexus LC continues to offer the Bespoke Build option. This allows prospective buyers to personalize nearly every detail on their vehicle, from the exterior color to the interior. You can also add distinct alloy wheels, a spoiler, and unique roof trim. Additionally, Bespoke Build models include a certificate of authenticity printed on Japanese washi paper and signed by the LC’s chief engineer, Yasushi Muto.
Pricing for the 2026 LC starts at $101,700 for the coupe. Meanwhile, the convertible starts at $109,200 or $7,500 more than the fixed roof variant. Expect both body styles to go on sale in the fall.
