The Prestige Black trim has officially arrived in North America for 2026. Originally introduced in the brand’s home market of Korea, this new variant gives four models a distinct blackout look. Unlike some automakers, Genesis goes all in on the Prestige Black variants of the G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.

Genesis Prestige Black: Darkened Exclusivity
Choosing a G80, G90, GV80, or GV80 Coupe in the Prestige Black trim adds a full-on monotone blackout look. On the outside, the vehicles get blackout headlight inner bezels, dark badges, and black alloy wheels with floating center caps and a unique pattern. The G80 features 20-inch wheels, while the G90 comes with 21-inch units. On the other hand, both GV80 models come standard with 22-inch alloys. Additionally, the radiator grille, exterior door handle accents, window moldings, front and rear fascias, and door accents all come finished in gloss black. In terms of exterior colors, the Prestige Black models only come in either Vik Black or Uyuni White. All four also include black brake calipers with four-piston monobloc units up front.
The monotone theme continues in the cabin of Prestige Black Models. Black Ash open-pore wood trim and black Nappa leather upholstery with exclusive quilting come standard. Black interior accents, buttons, controls, and shifter all add to the monotone theme. Even the speaker grills come finished in Anodized Black. Moreover, the Prestige Black models include a model-exclusive key fob, along with a unique theme for the welcome/goodbye animation and infotainment theme and sound.

Exclusively Priced
Pricing for the Genesis Prestige Black models varies. The G80 Prestige Black starts at $80,845, while the larger G90 checks in at a cool $107,750. On the other hand, the GV80 costs $84,745. Want the swoopier roofline? The GV80 Coupe starts at $90,895, or $6,150 more than the more practical standard SUV.
