Blackout style has a new name. Meet the 2026 Nissan Rogue Dark Armor. Positioned in the middle of the 2026 Rogue lineup, the Dark Armor brings unique design details plus more standard features. Based on the SV trim, it includes 19-inch gloss black wheels, satin black roof rails, and black exterior accents. Furthermore, the Dark Armor includes a 360-degree surround view camera, panoramic moonroof, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
The 2026 Nissan Rogue Dark Armor joins the Rock Creek as the second style-focused model in the lineup. Unlike the Rock Creek, the Dark Armor focuses more on a refined look rather than a rugged one. Additionally, the Dark Armor offers both FWD and AWD drivetrain configurations. All 2026 Rogues come standard with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine making 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque. A CVT remains the only transmission option for all models.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the EPA rates the 2026 Rogue at up to 28/36/32 city/highway combined with FWD. Adding AWD drops those figures down to 28/35/31 mpg on most trims. On the other hand, the Rock Creek remains the least efficient at 27/32/29 mpg. Pricing starts at $30,180 for the base S trim with FWD. Meanwhile, AWD adds $1,400 to the sticker price on the S, SV, and SL trims. The Rock Creek and Platinum come standard with AWD and start at $35,080 and $40,380, respectively. Loading up the Rogue Platinum puts it north of $45,000 with an extra-cost color selected. Pricing for the Dark Armor will be announced at a later date.
Expect to hear more about the 2026 Rogue later this year. Nissan announced that a plug-in hybrid will join the lineup at a later date, powered by the same powertrain found in the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
