The 2026 Jeep Compass has arrived, and it’s essentially a carryover model without many big changes. Under the hood is the same 2.0-liter turbo-four with 200 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic returns as the only transmission option. Every model also comes standard with AWD. However, only three trims return for 2026 with the discontinuation of the Sport variant. For 2026, the Jeep Compass includes three new exterior colors: Fathom Blue, ’41 Green, and Joose. That third color is only available for a limited time.
An 8.4-inch touchscreen comes standard on the 2026 Jeep Compass. Higher trims come with a larger 10.1-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on all models. Every trim also includes a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a full suite of driver assistance tech as standard. For added comfort and convenience, higher trim levels offer ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster.

Pricing starts at $32,985, or over $4,000 more than the 2025 model. However, that’s due to the discontinuation of the Sport trim, the only way to get a Compass for under $30,000 before taxes and other fees. As before, expect to pay over $40,000 for a fully loaded example in either Trailhawk or Limited trim. The former includes tweaks that enhance off-road performance. Those include all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned suspension, the Selec-Terrain system, and a low range for the AWD system. Fuel economy ratings are 24/32/27 mpg city/highway/combined according to the EPA.
Based on such a minor change, the 2026 Jeep Compass may be the final model year for the current generation. A new generation debuts in Europe sometime before the end of 2025, and that model is expected to find its way to North America sometime in 2026.
