Ford F-150 Raptor R Project Trucks Boasts 900+ HP!

The Ford F-150 Raptor R just got a massive infusion of power. At the 2025 SEMA Show, Ford Performance Parts showed off a project vehicle packed with go-fast goodies. Its biggest update? a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger that bumps output from 720 horsepower to over 900! Most importantly, these parts meet Ford’s rigorous standards. That means more performance without sacrificing the vehicle’s integrity.

What’s more, Ford designed the new supercharger on the Ford F-150 Raptor R project vehicle for CARB compliance and is legal in all 50 states. On top of that, it’s backed by a three-year or 36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty, the same duration as the automaker’s limited warranty. However, A Ford dealership or an ASE-certified technician must install the parts.

Beyond the supercharger upgrade, this F-150 Raptor R project vehicle includes a Borla extreme cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips. It also includes a carbon fiber appearance package and RIGID Industries exterior lighting. The latter adds a hood hinge-mounted kit, upgraded off-road driving lights, and white underbody rock lights. Finally, it swaps the standard wheels for METHOD black wheels.

Unlike the Maverick 300T that also debuted at the 2025 SEMA Show, the Ford F-150 Raptor R project vehicle isn’t going on sale anytime soon. The automaker says this project vehicle highlights the truck’s potential for customizability using Ford Accessories and Ford Performance Parts.

In stock form, the F-150 Raptor R already possesses incredible performance. Beyond its 720-horsepower supercharged V8 engine, it features sport-tuned, dual-mode Fox shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, and all-terrain tires. However, to get that more powerful engine means paying up. That’s because the standard Raptor uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. In comparison, that engine “only” has 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. That’s a drop of 270 hp and 130 lb-ft.
