Toyota has announced some welcome changes for the 2026 Sienna. Across the board, the popular minivan receives a host of new standard features. On the base LE trim, these features include an eight-speaker audio system, a power liftgate, rear window shades, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Meanwhile, the XLE trim gains black roof rails. The 12-speaker JBL premium audio system is now available on the XLE trim as a standalone option and comes standard on the sporty XSE.
On the other hand, the Woodland model is now available in Ice Cap color. Heavy Metal also joins the exterior color options list on all 2026 Toyota Sienna models except the Woodland. That replaces Magnetic Gray and Celestial Silver, two colors recently discontinued on other Toyota models.

Under the skin, the 2026 Sienna remains unchanged. That means a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain with 245 hp. Every model is offered in FWD or AWD, while the Woodland and Platinum trims are AWD only. The XSE trim also includes standard sport-tuned suspension and steering. On the other hand, the Woodland has slightly more ground clearance at just under 7.0 inches. In terms of fuel economy, front-drive models are rated at 36 mpg across the board, while opting for AWD drops that to 34/36/35 mpg city/highway/combined.
The Sienna also comes with plenty of family-friendly features, including a vacuum and fridge. Heated and ventilated front seats are also available on most trims, as are second-row captain’s chairs with ottomans. Every trim comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of touchscreens, the LE trim has an eight-inch unit, while the XLE and up have a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
Expect the 2026 Sienna to go on sale before the end of the year.
