2026 Volvo EX30

2026 Volvo EX30 RWD Finally Arrives

Finally, Volvo added the rear-drive, single-motor EX30 after initially launching in 2025 with only a dual-motor AWD setup. Featuring 268 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, the single-motor EX30 has significantly less grunt than its dual-motor sibling. That model has a whopping 422 hp and 400 lb-ft, allowing it to hit 60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds. However, the single motor still offers quick acceleration, hitting 60 in around 5.1 seconds. Both models use a 69-kWh battery pack with 64 kWh of usable capacity. Using a DC charging, the 2026 Volvo EX30 can go from 10 to 80% in under 30 minutes under ideal conditions. It also has access to Tesla Superchargers via an adapter.

The 2026 EX30 has three trims: Plus, Ultra, and Cross Country. On the Plus variant, drivers can choose between single- and dual-motor setups. Meanwhile the Ultra and Cross Country only offer the latter since they come standard with AWD. Additionally, the 2026 Volvo EX30 Cross Country includes a lifted suspension and specific exterior design details. In terms of driving range, the EX30 checks in at an EPA-estimated rating of 261 miles for the RWD model. The dual-motor drops to 253 miles, while the Cross Country is good for 227 miles.
