2026 Lexus TX

The 2026 Lexus TX arrives with a starting price of $57,090 for the base gas model. At the top end, this luxury three-row SUV runs up to $80,960 depending on which powertrain you choose. For 2026, the TX only receives minor changes: Matador Red Mica is now available on non-F Sport models, and the TX 550h+ now comes standard with a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, the third row now has modular cup holders.

What hasn’t changed are the TX’s powertrain options. The TX 350 continues to utilize a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic is the only transmission offered with this engine. FWD comes standard, while AWD is available as an option.

On the other hand, the TX 500h uses a hybrid system that couples the same turbo engine in the TX 350 with an electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission. It produces a total system output of 366 hp and 406 lb-ft. The TX 500h also features standard Dynamic Rear Steering and the DIRECT4 AWD system, the latter adds an electric motor on the rear axle. Available only in F Sport models, the TX 500h has available Adaptive Variable Suspension for enhanced on-road ride and handling. Moreover, the DIRECT4 AWD system can also send more power to the rear for added stability and improved handling.

At the top of the 2026 Lexus TX lineup is the TX 550h+. This plug-in hybrid model features a 3.5-liter V6 coupled to three electric motors, a high-capacity traction battery, and a planetary gear set. Total system output is 404 hp. Additionally, the TX 550h+ uses the DIRECT4 AWD system, meaning it has an electric motor on the rear axle. Furthermore, its high-capacity battery allows it to travel 33 miles before the gas engine kicks in.

Expect the 2026 TX to arrive at dealers later this year. The TX is assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana.
