2027 Nissan Murano Adds Dark Armor Trim

Nissan has made some notable changes for the 2027 Murano. The biggest one? A new Dark Armor trim. Like in the Rogue and Frontier, this Murano comes with a lot of blackout details. On the outside, it adds sport bumpers and lower side molding, gloss black exterior badges, and gloss black-finished 21-inch alloy wheels. The Murano Dark Armor also includes cool Dark Armor badges on the lower portion of the front doors. Inside, the blackout theme continues with Graphite upholstery to match the exterior.

In terms of exterior colors, the 2027 Nissan Murano Dark Armor offers six options. These include Gun Metallic, Super Black, Scarlet Ember, and Everest White in single-tone. Looking for a little more pizzazz? You can also choose a two-tone version of Everest White with a Super Black Roof. Additionally, Boulder Gray comes exclusively as a two-tone, also with a Super Black roof.

For 2027, the Murano continues to offer three trims and standard AWD. However, the SV trim is gone, making the SL the new base model. That model start at $45,535, an increase of $2,570 for the base model, but a decrease of $1,025 from last year’s SL trim. Meanwhile, the Dark Armor starts at $48,535. It includes goodies like a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, Google Built-In, and ambient lighting. That’s in addition to the blackout details.

On the other hand, the range-topping Platinum trim costs $51,335. That includes heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, semi-aniline leather upholstery, and heated rear seats. It also gives you access to the Technology package for $3,300 extra. That adds ProPilot Assist 2.1, a head-up display, and a 3D-enhanced surround-view camera. All told, the Murano Platinum checks in around $55,000, which slightly higher than similarly sized key rivals like the Toyota Crown Signia and Subaru Outback.
