Nissan adds a nice infusion of style to the 2027 Sentra with the Midnight Edition. As before, this model goes all-in on the blackout look. It adds black window trim, badges, and 18-inch black alloy wheels. On top of that, the Midnight Edition comes exclusively with a two-tone exterior, featuring a Super Black roof. Best of all, this restrained appearance costs only $650 more than the SR trim, the variant it’s based on. Not bad!
As far as other changes go, the 2027 Nissan Sentra carries over mostly unchanged. It now comes with a Qi2 wireless charger just like the three-row Pathfinder. Additionally, engineers re-tuned the CVT automatic. This results in a smooth, more linear acceleration profile. Nissan also says that this revision allows the transmission to deliver crisper response to acceleration inputs. This provides a predictable driving experience.

Pricing remains quite affordable, with the base S trim checking in at $24,135. That includes a lot of standard features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the full Nissan Safety Shield 360 driver assistance suite. Moving up to the SV at $24,835 brings you more bang for your buck with a 12.3-inch digital cluster, Nissan Intelligent Key, and more. Higher trims include features like an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, ProPilot Assist, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, and a surround-view monitor. SL models also include cool quilted TailorFit upholstery.
Even loaded up, the Sentra manages to keep prices reasonable. The SL trim checks in at $29,235 with virtually every bell and whistle. Meanwhile, the SR manages to keep it around $30,000, even with an extra-cost exterior color, the Premium and All-Weather packages, a rear spoiler, and a moonroof. Heck, add all that to the Midnight Edition, and it still keeps pricing reasonable!
