Hyundai has expanded the Palisade Hybrid lineup for 2027 with the new Black Ink Edition. It marks the second Hyundai vehicle to receive the Black Ink treatment following the all-electric Ioniq 9. This model will offer three exterior colors: Abyss Black Pearl (rightfully so), Ecotronic Gray Pearl, and Creamy White Pearl. Power comes exclusively from Hyundai’s 2.5-liter hybrid turbo-four with 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque.
So, what does the 2027 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy Black Ink Edition get you? A cool blackout look. On the outside, it features black-painted Hyundai logos, front grille accents, and active air flap. It also includes gloss black chrome lower cover and moldings, windshield surrounds, roof rails, D-pillar trim, alloy wheels, and upper windshield trim. Additionally, the Black Ink Edition has a dark-tinted, chrome-finished lower front grille, a satin-black, metal-finished front bumper, lower skid cover, and lower door trim. Finally, in the rear, this variant gets a satin black metal finish on the rear bumper and lower skid cover, and a dark chrome and satin black metal finish on the rear bumper’s upper trim.

Inside, the Black Ink Edition replaces everything finished in silver on the standard Calligraphy model with black. This includes the steering wheel accents, window switches, door handles, speaker grilles, air vents, and instrument panel moldings. Even the climate controls and center console bezels come finished in black. As a result, the Calligraphy Black Ink Edition brings the murdered-out look inside and out. No cutting corners here.
How much will all this extra style cost you? A very reasonable price, considering the Black Ink Edition is a range-topping model. Front-drive models start at $60,880, while opting for AWD bumps up the sticker price to $62,880. Considering all the equipment it has, this three-row SUV is a strong value.
