Chevrolet just announced some big changes for the 2027 Trax and Trailblazer, its smallest and most affordable SUVs. Most changes focus on tech and driver-assistance features. Both include some neat design tweaks too. For starters, both now come standard with an 11.3-inch touchscreen. It features Google Built-In and the Gemini AI assistant. Additionally, an OnStar One subscription enables wi-fi hotspot capability and video streaming.
Both the 2027 Chevrolet Trax and Trailblazer now include more standard driver assistance features. These include adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking assist, the safety alert seat, and blind zone steering assist. Furthermore, rear automatic emergency braking, intersection automatic emergency braking, and side bicyclist alert are now standard on both SUVs. Additionally, a new interior color called Storm Sky Gray debuts on the Trax and Trailblazer.

As part of the 2027 updates, the Trax receives some styling revisions. These include a new grille, fresh wheel designs, a redesigned liftgate, and full LED taillights. The RS trim comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Active trim continues with the adventure-inspired look with its specific front fascia. Inside, the 2027 Chevrolet Trax comes with distinct hexagonal side vents on the instrument panel. Furthermore, the Trax now offers an optional power liftgate.
Meanwhile, the Trailblazer adds a Z71 trim. It comes standard with AWD, an off-road-tuned suspension, an underbody skid plate, and sport-terrain tires. Additionally, its seats feature a new Jet Black and Storm Sky Gray combo complemented by orange accents. The Trailblazer also adds a new column-mounted shifter and a redesigned center console with extra storage. It also features standard rear passenger air vents and an available hands-free power liftgate.
Look for the refreshed 2027 Trax and Trailblazer to arrive in Spring 2027. Expect pricing to remain similar to that of the 2026 models.
