2027 Kia Sportage: Gas Models Have a Price Tag

Pricing for the gas-only 2027 Kia Sportage is out and it remains a pretty solid value. At $30,485 for the base LX trim, you get a lot. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a full suite of driver assistance technologies come standard. Want AWD? That’s an extra $1,800 extra. Next up, the EX trim adds heated front seats, a smart power liftgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, and dual-zone climate control for $32,385.

For 2027, the Kia Sportage X-Line adds the panoramic sunroof and the smart power liftgate as standard equipment. It also comes with model-specific exterior design details, black accents, raised roof rails, and 19-inch wheels. Additionally, AWD comes standard on the X-Line trim, all for a cool $36,285. You can also add the new two-tone Road Ride Brown exterior color with a black roof. On the other hand, the front-drive-only SX trim includes a Harman Kardon premium audio system, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, driver’s seat memory, and more for $36,085.

Looking for something more premium? The SX Prestige adds features like a surround-view camera, ventilated front seats, a power front passenger seat, and LED fog lights. That model costs $38,085. Once again, add $1,800 to that if you want AWD. At the top of the lineup is the X-Pro Prestige. This trim features unique 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, a heated windshield, and more for $41,385.

As before, the gas-only Sportage comes with a 2.5-liter inline-four with 187 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic remains the only transmission offered. Certain models also have a max towing capacity of 2,500 lbs. With FWD, most trims have an EPA-estimated rating of 25/33/28 mpg city/highway/combined, while AWD models check in at 24/30/27 mpg. The X-Pro is the least efficient gas model at 23/26/24 mpg.
