BMW just commemorated the end of an era. With Alpina now a fully owned sub-brand, it celebrates the past with one final hurrah: the 2026 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur. Limited to 120 units for the U.S. and Canada, and priced at a hefty $181,550, this exclusive SUV marks the end of production for this model at BMW Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina. It’ll be available only in two exclusive exterior colors: Frozen Alpina Green or Frozen Alpina Blue. Deliveries begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
So, what does the hefty price tag get you? A lot. The 2026 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur comes with 23-inch Alpina Classic forged 20-spoke wheels, Shadowline high-gloss black exterior accents and Alpina logo, and a unique rear XB7 Manufaktur badge. It also features the classic Alpina Deco-Set appliqué and laser-etched Manufaktur logos on the B-pillars. A hitch receiver comes standard, with a maximum towing capacity of up to 7,500 pounds.
Inside, the XB7 Manufaktur continues the exclusive touches. It comes with Tartufo full Merino leather upholstery, Alpina Walnut Nature Black trim, and headrests embroidered in green and blue heritage Alpina script. The floor mats also come with silver Alpina emblem pins, while the trunk mat has Manufaktur script embroidered in it. A plaque on the center console denotes the vehicle’s manufacturing number. Additional standard equipment includes second-row captain’s chairs and the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond premium surround sound system. Every Alpina XB7 Manufaktur also comes with two handmade Alpina weekender bags. These come in Lavalina leather and are trimmed in Blue and green Alpina script.

2026 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur: Potently Powered
The Alpina XB7 Manufaktur boasts prodigious performance. Under the hood, it features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 631 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic with anodized black paddle shifters comes standard. Additionally, the powertrain has a 48-volt integrated starter-generator. As a result, this massive luxury SUV can hit 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
A standard two-axle air suspension complements all of that power, complete with Alpina-specific damper and kinematic tuning. It also allows for a ride height adjustment range of 3.2 inches. Below 20 mph, it can raise the vehicle by 1.6 inches. On the other hand, it automatically lowers the car by 0.8 inches at highway speeds. Additionally, in Sport+ mode, the XB7 Manufaktur’s suspension drops the height by 1.6 inches. This helps lower the center of gravity and sharpen the car’s driving dynamics.
Meanwhile, Active roll stabilization with electro-mechanical anti-roll bars and stiffer rear axle bushings reduces body roll without sacrificing ride comfort. To make it easier to maneuver this large and luxurious SUV, Integral Active Steering helps deliver a more direct response. The XB7 Manufaktur also includes rear axle steering that can turn the rear wheels up to 2.3 degrees, improving low-speed agility and high-speed stability.
