Stellantis EVs Gains Tesla Supercharger Access

Stellantis has announced that its battery-electric vehicles are gaining access to more than 28,000 Tesla Superchargers across North America, Japan, and South Korea. The rollout begins early 2026 in North America, followed by Japan and South Korea in 2027. This means drivers of EVs from Stellantis’ brand portfolio will be able to charge at thousands of compatible Tesla Supercharger locations. As a result, DC charging becomes more convenient because you now have access to a larger network.

In the U.S., the first vehicles to gain Tesla Supercharger access are the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona. Both are already on sale. The 2026 Jeep Recon, which was revealed this week, follows the initial two models. Future models gain immediate access and likely include a standard NACS charging port. Meanwhile, existing models require an adapter provided by the automaker.

Despite this announcement, Stellantis didn’t disclose if Wagoneer S or Charger Daytona owners will receive the adapter for free. It also didn’t say if the Recon will ship with it standard. Considering this info, expect to pay for your adapter until an official announcement comes out from the automaker.

With the addition of Stellantis as one of the brands with Tesla Supercharger access, charging an EV is becoming easier. Only a handful of automakers are left without it. Subaru is about to join the club with the arrival of the 2026 Solterra, which has a standard NACS port. There is one notable omission, though. Stellantis did not say if the funky Fiat 500e will also get Tesla Supercharger access. With a driving range of 149 miles, gaining that expanded charging network could make that little city car more viable. Yes, it only has a peak DC charging rate of 85 kW, but it can still benefit from the ability.
