Hyundai has revealed the 2026 Elantra N TCR Edition for the U.S. after first announcing it for Canada. This special edition pays tribute to Hyundai’s six TCR Manufacturer’s Championships at the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
The 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition takes the standard model and gives it some welcome design details. These include forged 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels finished in gloss black. Hyundai developed these for the TCR Edition and to accommodate the four-piston front monobloc brakes. In the back, you’ll find a Swan-Neck carbon fiber adjustable wing and a TCR Edition badge.
Stepping inside, you’ll find an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a Performance Blue center mark, shift knob and boot, center console armrest, and hand brake. It also includes blue front seatbelts, N Performance aluminum door sill plates, and a TCR-specific door puddle lamps.

From the looks of it, Hyundai limited the number of Elantra N TCR Editions. It’ll be available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 276 hp and 286 lb-ft of torque. On dual-clutch models, N Grin Boost provides additional torque for 10 seconds. To complement all of that power going through the front wheels, every Elantra N also comes standard with an electronically controlled rear differential and adaptive dampers. Meanwhile, massive high-performance brakes developed in-house also come standard.
After making its debut at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, expect the 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition to arrive in the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, we expect its price to start higher than the standard Elantra N. However, keep in mind that the TCR Edition has a limited production run, making it a rare sports sedan. Expect an official pricing and production announcement closer to the car’s on-sale date.
