2026 Mazda CX-30 Aire Edition Sports a Cool and Modern Look

The 2026 Mazda CX-30 brings a cool new contrasting look with the new Aire Edition. Think of it as the opposite of the Carbon Edition, with its red leather interior. Instead, the CX-30 Aire Edition opts for a subtle look with white leatherette seats and gray contrast stitching. The 2.5 S model features gray cloth inserts, while the Turbo variants have a suede-like material. Both Aire Edition models also include black exterior badges, roof rails, and side mirrors.

Powertrains for the 2026 Mazda CX-30 carry over. The 2.5 S models use a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. Conspicuously, that’s 5 hp down from last year. Looking for more power, Turbo models have a turbocharged 2.5-liter with 250 hp and 320 lb-ft, if you feed it premium gas. Using regular gas drops its output down to 227 hp and 310 lb-ft. Both engines come paired exclusively with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD.

In terms of pricing, the 2026 CX-30 starts at $27,470 for the base 2.5 S trim. The Aire Edition sits in the middle of the lineup, checking in at $31,345 for the non-turbo model. Meanwhile, the Turbo Aire Edition costs $35,905, making it the second-highest trim in the CX-30 lineup. The Turbo Premium Plus model sits at the top of the range, costing $39,395. That gets you niceties like paddle shifters and Cruising and Traffic Support. Six premium exterior colors are available for $595 extra.

Other changes for 2026 include the expanded availability of the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. That’s now standard on the 2.5 S Preferred trim and up. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, too. Every CX-30 now comes with updated dampers and a brake-based Limited Slip Differential function that improves traction and stability.
