Pricing for the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross has been announced. Gas models start at $26,085 for the base L trim. AWD adds an extra $1,300, but that also swaps the torsion beam rear suspension for a multilink one. Want a hybrid powertrain? That’ll run you $30,445 for the Hybrid S, which includes standard AWD and a sport-tuned suspension. At the top end, the XLE trim costs just over $31,000, while the XSE checks in at $34,480. That’s before adding any optional extras, by the way.

2026 Toyota Corolla Cross: Fresher Than Ever
For 2026, the Corolla Cross sees a host of styling updates. This includes a distinct body-colored grille for select hybrid models, or a more rugged one on the gas variants. Revamped 18-inch alloy wheels also amp up the style of the XLE and the hybrid-only XSE. Additionally, a new Cavalry Blue exterior joins the color palette in single or two-tone flavors.
Inside, Toyota redesigned the center console, giving it a new layout. Meanwhile, higher trims now have a 10.5-inch touchscreen option, as well as an available 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Furthermore, a new Cold Weather Package adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Familiar Power Sources
Two powertrain options return. Gas models have a 169-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder paired to a CVT. Meanwhile, the Corolla Cross Hybrid uses the same engine coupled to three electric motors, a planetary gear set, and a traction battery for 196 hp combined. Toyota says the Corolla Cross Hybrid has an estimated fuel economy rating of 42 mpg combined. On the other hand, gas models check in at 32 mpg with FWD or 30 mpg with AWD.
Additionally, all hybrid models come with Electronic On-Demand AWD. Unlike the mechanical AWD system on the gas models, the rear axle isn’t connected with the front. However, both systems can operate in front-wheel drive mode to help maximize efficiency.
