2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Gains New Black Package

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 finally joins the blacked-out bandwagon with the introduction of the new Black Package. This new option adds a host of blackout design details throughout the exterior. It includes black side mirrors, door handles, and badges. It also includes black roof rails and 20-inch black alloy wheels with all-season tires. The S Plus model also features an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror for added convenience.

How much will all this murdered-out style cost you? Surprisingly, not much. Only $695! Yup, it’s fairly cheap! What’s the catch? The only way to get the Black Package is on the Pro S or Pro S Plus trim. That means you’ll need to pay at least $52,315 for a single-motor RWD Pro S model or $55,915 for the dual-motor AWD model. The Pro S Plus, which has AWD as standard equipment, costs $58,720. Thankfully, the Black Package is available in all exterior colors for both trims. However, keep in mind that on the Pro S Plus, you swap the 21-inch alloy wheels for 20s.

Volkswagen does not advertise the torque rating for the dual-motor models. On a full charge, the ID.4 Pro models can travel 291 miles according to the EPA. In terms of standard features, the Pro S Plus model includes the following that the Pro S doesn’t get: three-zone automatic climate control, heated rear seats, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, and a surround view camera. Both include heated and ventilated power-operated front seats and a 12.9-inch touchscreen
